Oh, I think if the right idea came along I could dive back into stories based in reality. I mean right now I'm sort of idea-bankrupt. . . so , yeah. I need to dive back into S&A but one of the things I picked up in my ABWG pieces is that there is so much arguing. I think I can read about Terry, Grace an Adam/Sofia without cringing.

I'm so mad because I came across an image of a dagger-shaped hair clip that's mentioned in chapter 8 and I cannot find it again. I wrote Sera's knife being a barrette because of it, I can only hope Internet Karma will cough it back up again.
With that said here are the images I've been hoarding as fashion inspiration for the Angels. Lots of white clothes, nude shoes and conservative dresses, but still fashionably sexy. It doesnt help that I found a tumblr called Girls In White Dresses

ReplyDeleteThat’s great to hear about S&A ! I really meant more non-fantasy, but wow more S&A ! I just read the vault pieces and I the other commenter would give our collective left arms for more Elijah.
I consider stories based in reality to be non-fantasy. It's sort of odd how everything has taken that turn and it's hardly intentional. I mean AF was the only intentional non-realistic story. The others sort of came about with a bit of the paranormal. If you ask JB I was obsessed with paranormal things as a kid, so maybe that's where it comes from.

I think I mentioned earlier that I seem to have a thing with Angels. I have no idea why. It occurred to me that Lost Angel would be a perfect title for Sera or Ariel's POV. . . I see a flash fiction . . . .

They could, but where would they live? What about their home ? And their regular clients ? To them St. Liliths is thier home. Not to mention they don't want to be kicked out by Helios of all people.

DeleteAlone, in the warmth of the glasshouse I watched the sun break into twilight. The absence of light silhouetting the woods and whatever lay in the distance. Clara’s presence suffocated and drowned me in the most delightful of ways . . . still I wanted for a tinge of the loneliness I had for years wrapped myself in.
I imagined she watched me, perhaps from a close distance. I fathomed to think she must have understood. The sun fell slowly and I waited for the first signs of night, the shimmer of the evening stars.
Instead I heard the quiet groan of the doors open.
The cold air slipped in quickly, I began searching for Clara in the evening light but she was no where to be found.
“Clara ?”, I called approaching the glasshouse doors, they opened instantly
Outside she was not 5 or 6 yards away from the glasshouse, walking at an even daunting pace.
“Clara”, I called again still she did not answer. I chased after her calling her name over and over again and still she continued to walk away.
I lost my footing and fell into the frosted ground, my muscles ached with a sharp pain that I new to be all in my head. My voice found her name one last time before breaking into a harsh dry sob.
The temperature quickly dropped, I shivered forcing myself from the ground.
“I promise, I promise”

ReplyDeleteI’m sorry, but Paris shouldn’t let Hip go. It’s too much of a risk, he doesn’t have many cards and she is the only one. Although I think their plan to have dameons attack them is a litttle misthought too. I mean they don’t have that many dameons to take on the SGI.
