First I want to congratulate Shawna for finishing her awesome story, it just shows that she deserves her golden leaflet. I loved getting to know Shawna through her story and our mutual comments.
I was concerned about Shawna during her writer's block and when she was having a hard time but I guess times like those bring out the best and I think we were all clapping at the end, okay just me ?
Music
So, just a note on the music. I will be using mostly modern-classical which is usually (here goes my secret) Musical Scores, meaning I wouldn't take song titles literally.
Clarifications
I just want to get a few Geographical (my worst subject) things straight.
1. Litany Village is a "Town" in Nightfall
2. Litany Lane is a street (well, Cul de sac) in Litany Village
Emile and Clara
In the comments someone asked why Emile dressed like Fierro and I originally had a sentence where Emile says that Mr. Fierro has rubbed off on him but for some reason it seemed really awkward (not for the reasons you think). Also ,becuase it was also mentioned in the comments, Emile died in 2002 and the story takes place in 2007 (don't ask me why, it just does)
A little note about Clara is that her "I saw the roses" line was supposed to be her "I carried a watermelon" line.

Worth it
I kind of feel like Clara is taking the whole being dead thing kind of hard. Mr. Fierro aside Night Fall seems kind of sweet.
ReplyDeleteThat beginning kind of raised the hair on my arms. I am curious as to whether when people die do they die in the clothes they were wearing or the ones they were buried in ? I ask because how did Kayla get the bear to Nightfall.

I feel like there has been no real development in these last few chapter and they could have been combined. It was like the first chapter I was totally into it the second one created a normalcy and set up the motivations but the third one seems like the other 2 with tiny little difference

I keep waiting for Mr.F to become likeable but I just hate him, he is terrible for no reason. Is it because people where mean to him for being an Albino ? Does he have red eyes ? Because if he did I would have ID'd him as Albino earlier

ReplyDeleteI saw a glimmer of humanity with Mr. Fierro telling kayla she could have as many roses as she wanted. Is it odd I imagine him British ?
I think of the whole Specter thing as kind of like porn theater maybe ? It's like people go there it is out in the open but, it is not a good thing and is seen as something bad. Does that make sense or did I just rule 34 that ?
