Cars
I mentioned in a previous comment section that the character's cars in AYC say something about them. Here is a little chart.
Seraphina Grigori - 2013 Tesla Model S (Silver)
Sera drives a pre-owned Tesla she bought from a neighbor in NYC. This is her and Paris' first car and because Paris is a liberal it's Eco-friendly. For Sera buying the car was about convenience and the car gives the illusion that she can afford a car with high name recognition and that she lives a modern life. Which is not really the case.
Paris Prince - 2015 Mercedes GLA Compact SUV (Red)
Paris' car is supposed to reflect the suburban upper-class environment he aspires to assimilate into. The car again gives the illusion that he is successful and wealthy--but the car is actually a Valentine's Day present from Sera.
Cortland Day - 2017 Orange BMW 4 Series
Cortland has a fun convertible that reminds him of his laid-back frat-boy partying days in Miami.
Skylar Day - 2017 Blue Pacifica
Sky drives a traditional SAHM car so she can be the one to drive around Kylie and her friends
Emile - 2012 Fiat
Emile is a free spirit who is always on the move. He's single and doesn't need that much space. Emile lives part-time in Europe where he mostly drives a Fiat so he has one in the U.S as well. He also had one in the LL-verse which is why I really did it.
Speaking of Emile
Gosh. I adore Rege as an inspy for Emile. Him in the suite gives total Emile in Litany Lane vibes. Just imagine he is smiling with his teeth.
Chapter 16 Part 1
Al's death and the arson are still unsettled in Harrison County. Paris and the supervisors have moved into new offices and are trying to move forward. Sera has her car secretly fixed so no one will suspect she ran Skylar Day off the road. It's not her car she should be worried about because several residents seem convinced she set the fire and are intent on driving her out of town.
Paris wants to believe Sera is innocent but she was supposed to be in NYC the night of the fire but after finding footage of her at a gas station in town he is starting to second guess. So he's off to investigate.
A little bit of Chapter 10 comes back in this.
