| "Blue Water" Inspy . . . |
Give Me Something To Blog About
So, I've been so focused on Goodwill that I haven't had much to blog about. So I'm just going to share a snippet from "Blue Water", which at this point is going to be called Liapri, I used the codename because I didn't want to let it slip what it was about, but I already shared the Pinterest board and that it was about Clara & co on vacation. Also I spent literally three hours researching luxury yachts when I started this and I'm using that info ! I am doing a deep dive into Northern Sicily reading all the travel blogs, watching all the videos, learning about the foods...I should write about glamours places more often.
I'm amped for Sincerely, Emile but I literally wrote three different versions of it and cut and pasted them together and it's... not working. So I'm starting over. It's serious WIP so here is a snippet of Blue Water.
“Yes. I think I can get used to this.”Emile took off his sunhat and put on a pair of yellow tinted glasses only Hemingway would appreciate. I nodded to the uniformed officer who took my hand and helped me onto the aft of 970 foot Pristine Cass Rinadi yacht.“Capitano Bianchi”, The handsome man in the crisp uniform said introducing himself in accented Italian, “Your party is in the sky lounge. Follow me this way Ms. DeLune”“And company”, Emile adds.Two other crew members appear and relieve us of our carry-on luggage. I follow the Captain through the sliding glass doors and into the cool interior of the yacht. We walk past a solarium an into the living area which was done up in a dark red with gold accents. I could smell the leather on the couches and the flat screen TV filtered between images of the ocean.I caught a glimpse of the 12 seat dining area and beyond that was the double master suites, then in the center was a glass enclosed staircase that lead to the sky lounge. I could hear music, the familiar combination of voices and clink of glasses. I heard a laugh. I heard her laugh.
I think after Godwill I'll be working more on these, I suspect I'll need a break from NA3 because of all the violence...
Goodwill Chapter 11
Tomas is settling into Riverside on his own, when he is sidelined and finds Allen Fenton and his mother are friends with Donna and Veronica. He is unsettled that the Fentons are allowed alone with Charity and makes a anonymous call to get her removed from the house.
He takes up his old job at Cups & Saucers and starts working his way through recovery and gets a new tattoo with the help of Bobby his former co-worker who also has room if Tomas wants to move in.
These next chapters are a little different. They also don't have song "sections"
