. . . So I've started PLT 2. I'm pretty sure I made the above hand motions. This is scary because it's soo diferent from QC in tone. Part two of PLT has a lot of third person and I need to make it not tone deaf. I'm all over the place with it. . . but I'm starting.
Body Meet Wall
I hit a wall. I always imagine one day I'm going to finish a serial top-down and then post and it never quite works out that way (well except with New Aeterna) It's not so much I that I've hit a wall as much as what I have to finish looks so messy.
Honeslty, the thought of going chapter by chapter like in the old days scares me. I really wanted to knock out another 40K draft before posting this chapter but it just didn't work out that way,
I actually went back and re-read Bellum I and II because they are cannon in this verse and a lot about Paris/Seraphina is very on point in NewA (of course this is also because I wrote New Aeterna and Bellum together).
Catch Up
November kicks off a month long celebration of liberation for the people of New Aeterna, and this year they have a brand new King and Queen. It's been a trying years as Paris survived a horrific assassination attempt last spring.
Except not everything is what is seems since Sera and Leon were recruited by their opposition (The Unification Party) to carry out the assassination a secret they both want to take to the grave. The secrets pile up when Sera and Leon murder the military commander who held her captive at Guantanamo Bay, she and frames him for the assassination. It's a temporary fix but they have other things to worry about.
Leon is trying to do good, especially considering he has a third daughter on the way.
Just to make thing interesting DOJ agent Solstic LeCroix is in town to ruffle some feathers, but Solstice might not be working alone and has secrets of her own.
