T-DOLL : S&A 1 & 2
So I might have to start actually blogging, since I don't have much to say in these post. Now I could focus on updating you on my progress with ABWG but it would look pretty bleak. I have an outline for ABWG I know what happens I just need to fill in the blanks.
The Other Thing
So I promised I'd be more of a straight shooter, so yes LL is getting the T-DOLL treatment. Note how spaced out S&A is from the "Novellas".I'm doing this mostly because I realize how many times characters seemed to carry an Idiot Ball during large parts of DSI.
Without further ado . . .
Is North-Pacific a thing ? Did I create the name of a Gossip Girl Character, Is it problematic to keep calling my character a D-bag ? AKA S&A 1 & 2

Oh, Lile I am so glad I would never let my characters start talking to me. I’d have to face ALL the things. Also, (and not to hi-jack) but I struggled with the Grey/Gray things. I mean I considered Allen Grey vs Alan Gray vs Allan Grey. Then Christian Gray comes along and well, none of it really matters.

DeleteSee ! You bought me back ! I bet it’s the same Eric from the other one. IT MAKES SENSE ! I honestly think this Eric guy is stealing the show. You know, him and “Maddie”. I can’t believe you couldn't remember when you had used my name when I first called you on it, I mean his character is so important. Look, it’s fine if you used my name. I don’t get it because my books have had 175 female co-stars and I’ve never used your name or anyone’s I know, but hey to each her own.

DeleteYeah, the Eric in this one is the same Eric as before. In FS Eric was dating Sibohan and Maddie was the roommate (In the sections I crossed out).
DeleteIn SA Eric is dating Maddie. It's just some background drama I created when I liked those characters. It's mentioned in passing where Maddie makes a comment about how easy it is to cheat.

Okay, so here goes. I noticed you said Tomas doesn’t and won’t die in this or in anything else. Do you think it’s be hard for you to kill him off... on a personal level ?
ReplyDeleteI think I've mentioned this before but if I killed Tomas off it would mean that I believe that AIDS is a death sentenace. That I don't believe that there will be a cure or preventive treatment one day. I can't kill Tomas off just yet, when a break through could be around the corner.

Right. It's The Diary of Linda Leigh. so it's TDOLL but I was like T-DOLL looks so cool. When I did FS I did the urls TDOLLFS then when I did S&A I forgot the "T" so it stuck to DOLLSA. I mean TDOLLSA is to much.

Going through this had got me thinking. In this chapter Tomas seems to think a lot about heaven and since Sofia isn't religious she wouldn't go to heaven. So, it could be said that the end kind of circles back because when Sofia is "saved" it means she is going to heaven and will be with Tomas again when he dies...or am I reaching.

DeleteUm, I think Sofia religious transformation (which totally came out of nowhere but I'll save that for later) was really about her. She needed something she could always believe in.
Gah, this story is stressing me out even though I know how it ends !

ReplyDeleteShe dies before LA or during. Let me check . . . she dies in 2001 which is 3 years before LA so Sof's been in the foster system for 2 years till LA

Yes. I mentioned that I'm trying for two Christmas novellas (SO HARD). I also accidentally wrote a short thing by accident that we will get to in 14 chapters.
