This is the chapter where you either think I'm cute and drunk or a crazy egomaniac. Some of this craziness leaks over into T-DOLL : LL. Let's do this.
While it may appear simple in writing and storytelling, to me writing chapter ten and the rest of the serial was like my equivalent of those Miss. America viral videos. I started off good and concise. Then I sort of didn't know where I was going so I just kept talking and talking. Soon I knew I was lost but I thought it I just kept going hoping that. . . maybe just. . . just maybe it would work out. Spoiler Alert ! It does work out (;

DeleteOMG, I had another surreal moment, when you said "Is this hospital real ?" (referring to the name, I assume) I thought you were hinting that the hospital only exists in Sofia’s mind and Tomas is really dead.

Okay, what is what the Eric bashing ?
ReplyDeleteEric is the realeast character you have. See, there is this idea that we all believe we are the protagonists of our lives. We believe everything is about us and we are the center of it all. And to some extend this is true because after all we can’t leave ourselves for someone else’s story.
Anyway, Tomfia are the protagonist of their own lives and because of that they have no perspective. Hence, Eric. Eric is the background character to all of their insanity. He is witnessing everything that happens and is the only character (except for maybe Kasey) who can tell the Tomfia story aside from Tomfia. And he does it without any bias. Eric represents true perspective in the story and I’m not sure you can just throw that character away.
Also, there is a saying about how love means bearing witness, so maybe Eric is in love with Tomas...

ReplyDeleteWait, what does their marriage have to do with Sofia having a v-card (Yes, I’m using that term because it is story appropritate) ? Do you have to have one or you can’t get married in a catholic church.
In the Catholic Church you can get divorced if you haven't consummated your marriage (That's not dated) Tomas doesn't want to divorce Sofia he wants to get an annulment (cause of all the money issues he has).
