Here we go . . .

I have now learned that it's best to write in chunks because a large document slows things down a bit. I guess apart from that I do have an update ! And now that I'm in the swing of things I'd love some honest opinions if you have them. This was a somewhat silent chapter but I suggest Winter by Josh Radin, over and over again. I'm so nervous but here goes.

Here it is

I'll post a little afterwards !

  2. The coffin was beautfully sad to me, I love that idea. It's like those people who have their funerals before they die.

  3. It must totally suck having Leukimia and then getting AIDS, that is so sad.

  4. Sofia is acting more like a wife because she is nagging him, lol. I think she is being a bit germophobic though.

  5. I loved it, I thought it was great. I love how they have a cat now. They are supposed to cure disease

  6. At first I though the name Alley-Rose was a play on the fact that the two first officially "met" in the alley.

  7. Tomas is a tattoo snob-- No tracing ! I would kill my tattoo artist if they said that.

  8. You mentioned Mrs. Alexander was going to be more of an unlikable character but I actually like her she seems to care about her son.

  9. Why does she feel okay kissing him but covers her mouth when she talks to him ?

  10. I hate that Tomas has AIDS ! It is sooo sad. I can't imagine ! This chapter was a great start.

  11. I hate how they always have to seperate, I like them together. I would want to spend holidays with my husband (if I had one.)

  12. It's weird I always assumed Tomas had no direction in life but, now I think it is Sofia because she never seems to be *doing* anything besides whining

I love the retroactive thing, I really do it is so awesome. I think Sofia and Tomas find more about themselves when they are apart than when they are together

  14. @ July - Thank You

    @ Violeta - Thanks

@ Heidi - It is, but the two are sometimes connected (usually vice versa)

@ Ty - She just doesn't want him to get sick

@ Cara - and they are adorable, I wish I could have one.

@ Spirited_Angel - Oh, hmm I like that. I was also going to make Sofia's middle name Allison

@ Delia - What he means is he draws his own original stencils, meaning he won't do a stencil of tinkerbell or a logo.

  15. Okay, you want honest ? I'm here to give you an honest review.

I love how you are giving your sections names, that adds to that foreshadowing which, I think makes reading more interesting.

I love seeing Tomas and Sofia outside of their world of Petal Brooke even for a few seconds,it brings the story to reality.

I love seeing the character of Tomas evolving more.

    Now,on to the bad

It wouldn't be a real critique unless I found something questionable or that I didn't like but, I honestly cant think of a thing. It was a little short ?

I don't know I think I will have to read more.

    But, I did love it

  16. This was really great. When they used the word piece de resistance it made me think it would be awesome if Tomas was French.

  17. I don't know why I pressed submit, sorry

@ Ellen - I honestly don't remember saying that, but maybe I did.

@ Sam_L - This takes a few weeks after the last novel so she hasn't been talking alot and forgets people sometimes can't understand her.

    @ Remi - Thanks

@ Butterflies - It's not for to long.

@ brightlight - I have to agree but she did get accepted into college.

@ Mrs.Jonas&Jonas&Jonas - Thanks, Shawna really inspired me with that one.

  18. It was everything I imagined and more. Although I live in NYC and I have no idea how they afford an apartment and studio space. If I were them I would live in the studio.

  19. So,spirited So Angelic, I like it. I can't wait for more. Shawna is right it is too short !

  30. Am I the only one who is worried about Tomas's mom and what his dad is like. And what Tomas might to with that Emma girl, I don't trust her.

  34. If they spend all their time together, how did she not now about the tounge ring ? Those things are painful and people tend to lisp when they have them.

They should have piercings in their tattoo shop

    ReplyDelete
  35. I meant to say I thought, lol talking on the phone and typing

  36. @ Penelope - Sofia is a bit self centered and the reason they don't do piercings is somewhat explained later on.
