Development

Hi,

So I'm still working but it's good work. I started writing a section that has spawned it's own chapter, so I'm getting very close to start posting again and I'll be sure not to have a gap like this. I have the whole entire story mapped out as I think I mentioned in the last post.

I think It's interesting with United Light after learning about Shawna's main theme of good vs. evil and light and dark and character perceptions, which by the way was spot on when it comes to United Light as a cult but I'm curious to see if she changed my perception of Caine. Anyway,I started to wonder if I had a theme.

I'm starting to think I don't, my writing is about the beginning and the end and how "we" got there. I feel like Spirits & Angels might have more of a solid plot than Spirits did. I remember making the decision to switch to first person after the Drafted Version of Spirits got so many positive comments.

I don't regret it because I feel like there is more of a connection with the characters but at the same time it is slightly limited. If it weren't for Shawna's United Light I don't think I would have been able to do it ! Speaking of which it seems like Shawna and I are once again running into some of the same plot devices (;

Finally I'd like to make some super vague comments because I want to remember this later. I've already made a few decisions, so feel free to ignore this.

1. I know 1 maybe 2 things that aren't going to happen, so future self it you do them you lied.

2. I already drafted out the end, in my head

3. I know what the last song on the playlist is going to be

4. And there is one thing that I'm thinking about doing but it doesn't do anything plot-wise or story-wise.


It's kind've scary writing that because I don't know what I'll do at the end.
