The StartSo where did this crazy idea come from ? Well when I came back I wanted to do a Halloween novella about an Angel lost in NYC while on her way to the party. It starts to rain so she hides under an awning where she meets a Demon who seduces her and takes her back to his place.
Surprise ! The Angel was Sofia's Halloween costume and Tomas is a Demon. Then I realized this made a better Clierro story, so I had to make the costumes fancy.
What's a fancy Angel costume ? A feather cloak instead of wings. A fancy Devil costume? All black everything !
Then . . .I was like what if there really were Angels and Demons living in NYC. I suddenlyhad this image of a single Angel with Demons walking around her and I had no idea why.
The InceptionChapter 1 I imagined this story as three chapters. Featuring a brooding and gentle Demon and a young naive Angel. The first chapter is
exactly the same sans the scar that was added last.
Chapter 2 The Demon follows the Angel to the Angel Sancturay to see the Angel Mother. They get stuck in traffic and walk across the Brooklyn bridge and he decides to take her to lunch. He marvels at how little she knows about the outside world. There is a bit of supurnatural but a whole lot of etheral clean romantic stuff. Throughout the weekend he starts to fall in love with the Angel (he shows her modern life and what not)
Chapter 3On their last night together he steals her away from dinner and they sleep together. He reveals that he knows the Angels are really the reason Father is sick and that he has poisoned all the other Angel's dinner, causing all the Angels to die except her.
The Angel (who is sweet, quiet and bubbly with dark hair and blue eyes) reveals that the basket of apples she took to St. Lilths were poisoned and that all the Demons have died while he was with her. (Which is why Paris takes the apple in the first chapter but doesn't eat it.)
So here they are the last two of their kind, unable to reproduce and must decide if they will kill each other or themselves. Or go off together.
Then it just ends
Well I crawled out of that dark tunnel and stepped back.
The hardest thing for me to let go was that the Angel had black hair and blue eyes , but I felt another black haired heroine was to repetitive. I mean I really did NOT want her to be brunette. . . then I saw Miranda Kerr.
The StorySo in the Inception version the Angel has a dagger and I was like "Hmm, an Angel with knives" that's different I should make that a weakness for the races.Then I started thinking about love stories between superiors and subordinates (wink wink), then I was like what if the sweet Angel wasn't sweet. Then I thought about a Female!Fierro. I wanted Sera to have a lot of hate hence the "horn-eating" scene.
Okay, characters are kind of a check. What about plot ? Well. . . writing a mystery was fun, so I did that again. I looked over the first chapter. I mean Father was dying I could figure that out, oh and the snowfires I can work with that too.
So I had two (unnamed) characters who were going to solve a mystery about snowfire apples. I have no recollection of how I came up with the
daemons being vampire expys. It's all a blur. So I wrote out the first three chapters.
Then I was like "LiLe this is starting to look like a Paranomral Romance" So I decdied this would be a PR told in reverse. And what does every PR since Twilight need ? A human love interest ! That is where Isobel Charter came in so I had to rewrite the first few chapters to accommodate her.
. Think about it this way
For years Isobel Charter has been obsessed with the strange mark and the stranger who saved her father's life. When her best friend mysteroiusly died Isobel finds herself thrust into a world of dark desire, an ancient war and murder.
She meets the dark and mysterious Paris Prince who isn't what he seem and soon her heart and her head are locked in a battle with fate, monsters and maybe love ?Then of course I was like what is this PR missing ? A LOVE TRIANGLE !! WOOO
So I played around with that. I could go on and on about the things I was going to do but didn't.
One Month ?I had such a clear idea of what I wanted to do so I just wrote short chapter after short chapter and I said to myself. . . why not ? Why not see if I can finish it ? Sure I was in the mental trenches for a LONG time before writing anything down, but I don't know. . . It just happened.

It seems like The White Queen was going to be kind of scintillating, was that the purpose?Um if by scintillating you mean smexy then yes. Why is that ? Because the reason Victor kidnaps Clara and calls her his White Queen is because she is a virgin So basically the firstchapter would have ended with Clara and Mr. F doing it, thus making Clara useless to Victor. . . and then what do I do for the rest of the story ? I mean if I even played it out it would be a story all about someone trying to have sex with Clara and that just wasn't going to work.
Which character do you regret the most ?Um Terri, Gracelyn, Adam. *sigh* basically the middle of SA. If I could have the ovaries of SHV and rewrite it. . . I would. . . but I just can't. I like how odd it is. . . but I don't.
Which character do you miss the most writing ?Well, I never stop writing them. You just never see it.
What are Lile's favorite scene, characters, moments and or lines. I'd really like to know what stands out to her.I have to say JNRR cause it was the first time I planned and plotted out the whole thing.
So I have posted some more HOF. I uploaded it a while ago so who knows what craziness is in there.
