What I've Been Up To
I've been pecking away and finishing up Severance. I think time sort of got away from me. I'm hoping to wrap up this serial by spring time. It's like a song. I have all the words and rhythms. I just have to put it together.
What Else I've Been Up To
I've been doing a ton of re-reading and it's been... a journey. At this point the only serial that seems to have any semblance of plot and decency is Queen & Country. I really dig into character motivations, politics and world-building. I have no idea how I wrote it.I would love to dive back into that world. I forgot how dark it was and how Paris/Seraphina have a more toxic /volatile relationship. The human version of Paris/Seraphina is actually a based off the New Aeterna Verse.
I started working on the Human!Verse while in the New Aeterna-verse because I wanted to know what it would look like if the characters didn't have forever and were able to grow and deal with their trauma.

I will have an entire post dedicated to this. I do want to do a sequel to New Aeterna but it won't be this. Atleast not the way I imagined it.
Red Booth - Lost Angels 2015
I just need to get a few things out of my system and then I will finish this. This takes place in 2015, so It will be fun writing this as a historical nostalgia piece.
Lipari - Litany Lane Story
This Litany Lane story is the thing I need to get out of my system. I've been working on it for years. At first it was a light fun vacation story with Clara's family, but it's become something a teeny tiny bit more. It's more of a family drama type thing now.
I want to reboot (not remake) the Litany Lane series as a Whimsigoth magical realism horror anthology series. I was really afraid of fantasy elements when I first did Litany Lane, but I think I can do it now. Lipari isn't apart of the reboot. It's more of a fun little bridge that is going to hint and introduce elements of this reboot.
This is what I plan to do :
Code Name - Fall
Set in 2021 this Dark Academia-Inspired story follows Clara as she (at the behest of her best friend Eleanor) takes a one year visiting lecturer position at a prestigious New England private school. Still tinkering with the supernatural elements.
Code Name - Rainy Days (2028)
Follows a very peculiar 21 year-old Rosalie Fierro reluctantly spending London Fashion Week with her cousin and a group of aspiring models who are keeping a dark secret.
I would want to do a story primarily featuring Fierro-- but I haven't quiet figured it out yet.
Litany Lane/Lost Angels Crossover
It's a short story. I've written 60% of it. I wanted to put Fierro and Sofia in the same room.
Litany Lane/New Aeterna Crossover
I was re-reading Survive and it got me thinking. This would be a fun exercise but it would be super brutal and sad.
Celestial Hollow
I still think this is a cute meta idea. I sort of want to do a Celestial Hollow Christmas but I guess I'd have to do a an introductory story first.

Severance Chapter 6 Pt 1
The copycat killer is onto the plot. They have broken into Sera's house and stolen the real Severance Stalker's body (which was chilling in Sera'a flowerbed).
Paris picked up intel that the Criminal Investigators won't be by Mia and Paula Felton's house for evidence until the afternoon. He and Cami plan to have a look before then...
