Wrap it up !

Like I said,  I said so much about Cold while I was writing it that I don't really have that  much else to say. If I can plan and plot another story in that world I'm 100% open to it.

What's next

Well, I plan to post Pink Neon  then may take a break to see what I can finish next.  The only story of I have planned in my head from start-to-finish is Red Booth-- but I feel like I have to write it from scratch. My tidbits are soooo old.

You : What about Celestial Hollow and New Aeterna 4 ?

These two are for sure in the swirling 'sometimes I think about them but mostly I don't' stage . I have no idea how to even begin them. As I've said--I was working on a New Aeterna story that involved a plague but current events put an end that. I'm starting to feel like I can approach the plague subject again. Who knows ?

I'll have to write more about my approach to these ideas. It's kind of wacky

Pink Neon

This is the first one-shot in the Pink Neon novella series. This story opens in 2008 a few weeks after Paris bails Sera out of jail in chapter 5 of Cold. then we  rewind to see how she ended up at that low point and what happens after. Friendly reminder. Sera is kind of mean.

Also I named the bar Sera works at Hey Mama after the song (It was originally a place holder) and not the term sometimes used for lesbian women.

I don't write Sera's POV often and it's sort of a soft blend of Tomas Alexander and Alex Haley. It's an optimistic nihilism.
