Red Booth
So, now we know the genesis of the name Red Booth, and to be honest with you... all I can think of it as is Red Booth, like I have zero ideas for a title. I kind of want to call it Sinners and Saints for reasons I'm sure seem obvious but that's so ...basic. I might seriously phone this one in and call it Red Booth. Or not who knows.
With that said meet 2017 Sofia and Tomas.
For Tomas my original picspiration was Ben Barnes, he was the perfect picspration for a younger Tomas and he still is for older Tomas. Barnes is a few years older than Tomas would be in 2017 and I imagine him a lot less rugged and touch more hipstery. The tattoos are vague picspirations for the types of tattoos Tomas has. Yes, he has face tattoos in this so...yeah.
So...let's say Summer 2020 ? I'd like to have this 70% complete before posting ! I'm struggling because I want to tell this story out of order in 'flashbacks' but I need to have it planned out to a T. It has to balance. I could cop out and tell it in chronological order but it will feel like a serial-dump. I may need to binge This Is Us for structure help.

A huge WIP, this serial is at the stage were I write random scenes out of order and hope I can glue it together later. Like I said before...and outline is needed.
New Aeterna - 27K
Remember that AU story I wrote that somehow became a trilogy and is spawing a YA spin-off ? This serial is the only one where I know the beginning, middle and end, plus all the themes and character development. I feel like if I was locked in a room for a week...I could maybe get this in better shape. NaNoWriMo ?
Liapri - 22K
I had an aha!moment with this Litany Lane mini-serial---that is going to read like Fanfiction--I came up with. I orginally 86'ed it but it's come back. This and Sincerely, Emile came to me around the same time and while they aren't connected they explore some of the same themes. I like this because it has Fierro's POV in it.

Sincerely, Emile Chapter 1
So I'm not quite ready to start posting again but I do want to post the first chapter of Sincerely, Emile. I'm still figuring out the whole of it, but I know feedback helps motivate me so here we go.
(Not so) Quick Litany Lane-Verse Re-Cap
This may seem like a deep dive recap for a mini-serial, but it's been awhile and this will be apropos for Liapri whenever I post it.
In 2007 Clara DeLune dies in a single-car accident and finds herself in Litany Lane and starts working for her neighbor Addiosn Fierro, whose quiet coldness hides the ties that bind them. Fortunately Clara bonds with Emile, Fierro's housemate and a writer working on a book to convince those in the afterlife not to become Specters on earth. Much to the chagrin of Victor Bordeaux the ruler of Nightfall.
Clara soon learns that everyone in Litany Lane was actually murdered...including her. Turns out Fierro has a vendetta against her becuase he was the best friend and longtime love of her Grandmother Lucie DeLune. In 1955 Lucie becomes pregnant by Roger DeLune, a French-American and heir to a billion dollar European instrument making company. Roger and Lucie are quickly engaged.
Fierro and Lucie have one last moment together before Roegr finds them. He is drunk and in a fit of rage stabs Fierro. Fierro is injured and tells Roger he won't tell if they get him help. Roger doesn't trust him and strangles Fierro with a chain. Roger and Lucie dump his body in a quarry and try to forget.
In 2005 Lucie passes away peacefully and finds her way back to Fierro. Thier love is rekindled and they marry. After a few years they begin to have a few issues. Lucie is more indulgent, Fierro is super practical. One day they go on a "visit" to see Lucie's granddaughter and there is something about Clara that Fierro can't shake.
Lucie realizes this and decides to become a Specter, she tells Fierro if he truly loves her he will join her...but he is to afraid of you know...damnation. As a Specter, Lucie is unhappy and partially blames Clara. In a moment of anger Ghost!Lucie causes her car accident.
Then
House Of Fierro
Clara and Fierro try to make move forward and tentatively start a relationship when Lucie (still a Specter) finds a way to posses Clara (Poltergeist Style) and holds her and Fierro captive for three months. Also Fierro is super obsessed with getting revenge on Roger who is still alive, so he isn't in a rush to help Clara (Roger's favorite grandchild) escape.
They eventually escape (with Emile's help) and Fierro realizes he can't be around Clara because of how complicated it is so he (with Ghost!Lucie haunting him) fakes his death and leaves. With only Emile knowing the truth
Clara is rescued and tells everyone she has no memory of the last three months.
Desert Sand Iris (Iris - One of my worst titles)
Four years later Clara is now a mother to their daughter, Rose. Emile helps out and he never tells Fierro about Rose because he doesn't want Ghost!Lucie to make things difficult. Then Victor (now a Specter) starts to threaten Rose and haunt Clara. Clara and Fierro are brought back together and to save Rose's life a
Fierro also befriends Dr. Essex's an occultist and paranormal academic who believes in Spectres and unexplained phenomena.
Je' Ne Regrette Rien ( I Regret Nothing)
Then *breathes*six months later Clara's father is found dead in his office...turns out he was poisoned. We backtrack and learn about how Clara's father (like his father) had rage issues and abusive tendencies that he geared towards Rose because he felt she was a blemish on his family
Okay, so it gets really complicated here it would take e a few graphs to write this out and I could do it in chronological order or in plot order but basically... it's revealed that Clara's Mother poisoned her husband because he attacked Clara and was abusive to Rose. Clara was trying to protect her mother the whole time but her Mother was convicted of Manslaughter
Ready to start over Clara moves to Europe and Fierro follows her.
Pretty Little Things Part 1 and 2
After a few months Clara and Fiero go their separate ways as Fierro isn't ready to settle down. They try to build new lives for themselves with Rose (and Emile) in the middle.Rose is diagnosed with cancer and when she recovers thier relationship is strained. They are also more and more aware that Rose has some very strange abilities (She can see an speak to Specters)
During this time Emile moves to England to help take care of Rose and his own relationps rise an fall in the background.
A few years past (wow, remember how Pretty Little Things goes across 7 years ?) Clara and Fierro finally get engaged. They renovate and move into a dilapidated French Manse, Chateau Mercier, that 'calls' to Clara.
They settle in just in time for Clara's little brother Clarence to come visit, where Clarence and Rose begin looking into the strange and unexplained things happening around the haunted house.
It's revealed that the house was actually the undiscovered murder house of Victor Bourdeaux, and it was haunted by the dozens of victims he forced to become Specters so they wouldn't reveal he was a serial killer.
See, I wrapped it all up there ? Also it's revealed hat Ghost!Victor is now trapped inside an old theater where his home was, because of how weak he has become.
The Specters are put to rest and with the house quiet Clara and Fierro decide to stay...even though they have decide marriage isn't quiet for them..
Sincerely, Emile Chapter 1
This takes place the summer after Pretty Little Things. Emile is now a full-time writer and has moved to the French countryside to live with his dear friends while he finishes his books. But between writing his books and getting to a wedding, Emile has quite a few things he'd like to say.
