FUN WITH QUOTES
When I added that Dark Knight quote to my last post I used a quote generator to make the image. . . then I went down a rabbit hole of playing around with different quote generators. I needed text to play with so I started pulling quotes from different SHV serials. Any guesses what his what ? There is a way to cheat ! But I bet these are super easy.

Reminded me of this part in Chapter 5 of QC
She’d showered, scraped off the face paint and thrown on a wrinkled faded shirt and long gym shorts. Her usually cropped hair was in a defiant buzz cut
There is something empowering about a woman shaving her head. Plus it's nice not having to hear the men in their lives bitch about it. I mean I still don't quite understand Sara Grace and Rayne's relationship but I'm assuming he's cool with it.

So, if you haven't noticed the incompetent guardsman everyone is yelling at or being mean to is Theo. If we were to look at New Aeterna through any other character's eyes that is how significant Theo would be.
Chapter 8
Chapter 8 was sort of an "episodic" chapter, where (in my head) I imagine if this was a comic book it would be it's own issue.
Chapter 9
Recap : Leon reveals to Isobel that he and Sera were blackmailed by Unification Party Leader Bart Giuliani into assassinating Paris. Isobel agrees to keep quiet but there is someone new in town who won't let the matter rest.
Chapter 9 picks up just a few hours after chapter 8. This one is a transition chapter. It should have all been one chapter but it would have been 15K and 10k is my limit per chapter.
