So once again we say farewell (for now) to the enigma who is Alan Gray and the group of misfits he finds himself thrown together with. I swear I could read this same set up over and over again and love it each time. Vice has such a way with world-building that I will never posses and why most of my stories take place in the same state.

DeleteMrs. Four - This was supposed to be the plot of HOF, but once again it's not authentic to me to have the characters solve "BIG WORLD" problems. They would have to find something that happens on a smaller scale.
If I have any insights I will let you know.

ReplyDeleteI can definitely see the prince theme, Adam sounds like a prince, Paris is a prince, and Cillian is kind of a prince in Cascade Falls since his Dad was king.
Funny you caught on to this. Cillian's last name was orginally Prince for that very reason. Then I was like he needs to be Irish because of the Irish Folklore involved. So I was going to make his nickname Prince but then I thought Prince and Princess as nicknames was a little to much.

ReplyDeleteI never realized how heartbreaking (and..confusing ?) this story was. I am SO glad Emile survived through it.
I really liked Emile and he survived so I could write a scene for him in JNRR that never showed up. More on this later.
