I am also super excited to see what Shawna is going to come up with for November !
I do have an update but it doesn't contain the song that I am totally over-hyping but it will be in the next chapter. I take some poetic licenses with this chapter, I got a lot of help from other writers (not JB) on being a bit more creative. This chapter does contains a lot of things I really wanted to do since the beginning. I also tried to make the +++ pink so if some of them aren't it doesn't mean anything.

ReplyDeleteThose last chapters were really sad. I had some idea Tomas wasn't dead just yet. I kind of feel like he is just kind of giving up though. I don't understand why he wont just take the medicine.
ReplyDeleteI love how Adam can take Sofia out of it, in a way. Are we ever going to hear from Tomas's mom ? Maybe when Tomas passes away Adam can be her Happily Ever After.
ReplyDeleteI loved hearing about Sofia's mom, it seems like they were really close. Did they ever think maybe she commited suicide because of the disease and not beacuse she wanted to ?

Is thier a reason Kasey stands in the doorway ? It must be hard for him to see Tomas like this. This chapter really freaks me out about AIDS.

When you left that comment I started theorizing and I knew it had to be the driving thing ! I admit when I wrote it it had no greater significance but, now it actually does have some. However it is a rom-com motif to have a driving lesson so, what are you going to do ?
ReplyDeleteIt is also really weird that we made the driving scenes both on a Wednesday (mine was originally Tuesday but I changed it for a reason I can't remember)So, strange !
The Sideway's song, I think personifies their relationship perfectly, I feel bad for Adam.
I read UL too and it's so funny how parallel parking is such a guy thing (although the look sexy doing it) !
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one who has gotten that Sofia "broke up" with Adam ? That was so sad. I wonder is she has really found religion and thats why she goes to confession, I know sometimes Linda's little scenes mean more than appear to.

ReplyDeleteIt kind of refers that Tomas has actually read Pride and Prejiduce. I suppose the book has been published in Lithuanian too.
The last few sections were just so beautifully written. When I thought Tomas was dying I was trying to keep my own breaths. I knew something like this was coming but, nothing prepared me for the realism in these sections. Your words really do paint a picture.

It was so sweet that she was breathing for him, I hope it helps. Is their something about cats being able to detect whether a body is dead or not ?
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine how hard it must be to sit with a dead body, It must be so hard. It's odd sometimes I can't tell what they are saying and what they are thinking but, it doesn't seem to matter.

I think they should atleast say goodbye. Good-byes help with mourning.I am honestly afraid what will happen with these next few chapters but, I can't wait. Someone needs to hack Linda's computer !
