Finishing Monet Drive feels bittersweet. When I started this two part sequel (yeah, I said it) to Litany Lane I never thought I'd finish it. I wrote the first drabble that became this about four years ago... maybe more and I'm glad to be done.
I should have killed a few darlings but one thing I wanted to write but couldn't find the space for was that I wanted to write Juliet from JNRR in. She was supposed to show up on the train platform when Clarence and Rose where in Ireland. I wanted this because both she and Rose are "different". It just didn't work.
Updates
So I have a few things in the pipeline but most of them are bunches of scrambled up paragraphs, but I can't wait to post some novellas. If there is anything I've learned from posting is that there are always insight in the comments that help me move things along and see from other perspectives.
What's Next ?
Well, I have a few fun novellas but other than that nothing finished that is over 10K.. Maybe I need to take a hosrt hiatus to ? I feel like I can tell the Tomas/Sofia story, if only because I feel like it fixes the giant mess SA is. I need a second swing at it.
As for New Aeterna-Verse ? Well, that verse is my fun spot. Full of anti-heros, gallows humor and a pinch of erotica. I know I want to do it to see how far I can push the envelope.
Novella November : Sunday Nights In Savannah
I've spent some time in November working on/cleaning up some novellas. My novellas NEVER have names so it's strange when I give them one. This novella is a short thing I wrote when I realized I had never written Rose's POV and wanted to get some practice.
