Novella Shuffle
So, I sort of spontaneously laid out my novellas but I want to be like SHV and give a state of the Novella. Yes, these are all code names because I don't have real names. Also I've been hiding behind novellas instead of working on . . . you know. . . PLT, Goodwill. . . finishing QC.
Origins
A New Aeterna shortie novella that I wrote to flesh out the AU backstory of Paris and Sera I don't know why I wrote this down or if I ever planned to post it. This is ~3.5K and it has Sera's POV !

Okay, so this is a prequel novella to MaxwellGrigori. Yeah, I said it. I wrote Maxewell Grigori first and I had to go back and figure out how the characters get to where they are.

This is a um...New Aeterna-verse novella that gives an Angel's POV of living under Helios' regime. It's a dark dystopian domestic thriller with an unreliable narrator. I started this one a few weeks ago because I needed a distraction.

Recap
Anne Lynne has spent years passing as human and has worked her way up to the board of directors of the notorious Unification Party, an Anti-New Aeterna organization that wants to reunite NYC with America.
And to make things interesting Anne has recently recruited Ravi, a teenage terrorist with a thing for explosions, to help make her . . . points. Now, Anne has decided to step out of the shadows and blackmails Paris Prince for a place in New Aeterna. Anne has recently set her eyes on a particular position.
“Anne”, Paris said nervously, “You do realize the Queen of New Aeterna has no power or purpose.”
Anne shrugged, her wheels turning.
“Well, all I need is the court of public opinion. I mean Paris we’ve always worked well together in the past and Hmjeu and I spoke of you often, I know the future he saw for you. You could finally have someone at the top who could advise you. I know all the tricks to deceive humans. I think it would work out well. Aren’t you tired of dealing with it all alone?”
Paris nodded, but I don’t think he meant to. I think he wanted to disappear. To run away. Didn’t blame him.
“Anne the thing is”, Paris began, “I have, at the moment anyway, a wife--
“Well”, Anne cut in, “The groundwork already been laid. With the way Sera has been acting in public and how gracious you’ve been with showing me around. I don’t think anyone will think anything of it if you divorced and remarried within a year.”
When Paris doesn't fight back it puts him even further at odds with Seraphina.
“You don’t tell me what to do Paris”, she pushed the heel in further between his lips and into his mouth. She very slowly pulled her heel back out before sliding it back in again, “Not when you are letting this woman decide the future of everything we built. I understand in your worldview appeasing her is for the greater good, but you are dead wrong.”
Meanwhile Solstice LeCroix has been on the down low and crashing with Anne Lynne in the small town of Port Chester just outside of New York City.
Now that Seraphina has decided to let Paris dig his own grave, Anne starts carving out a place for herself beside Paris. Because as far as Anne is concerned.. . New Aeterna is about to get a brand new queen.
The first section in Chapter 18 plays out to me like a scene in Scandal.
