So I was going to write a series of short Clara POVs as a series recap, but I found this interview where Clara does a pretty good job of telling the story herself. This is edited from this verison
LL : Okay Clara can you tell us a little bit about yourself.
LL : Wow, we get it. You're rich, smart, pretty and perfect. What could go wrong ?
Clara : Well . . . I died.I ended up in the beautiful limbo called Nightfall on Litany Lane where I met my future best friend Emile. I also met my neighbor Mr. Fierro
LL : Tell us a little more about him
Clara : Um, well he's this rich-old fashioned mysteriously handsome albino that was really mean but occasionally nice to me with an devilishly polite sensibility
LL : Are you sure you aren't describing Edward Cullen ?
Clara : Positive
LL : Continue
Clara : Right, so he hires me as his maid so I can buy this amazing piano I want. I can't really explain it but I start to fall for him. Victor, the king of Nighfall, isn't happy about that because he wants me to himself because well. . .look at me. Also I guess there is this weird thing that if you get a vir--
LL : We don't' need to talk about that Deux Ex Machina, let's move on. So, things take a turn
LL : NO !
Clara : I know, but it turns out that while my grandmother did love him, it wasn't enough to keep them together.
LL : How terrible
Clara : Yes, so she became a Spectre (Specter) and wanted him to do the same so they could be together forever. He didn't do it. He was to afraid. It turns out she killed me because she thought her youthful husband seeing me all young, beautiful and alive made him not want to go with her. She wanted nothing more than for him to join her for eternity but he never did.
LL : That's a nice story.
Clara Anyway . . . long story short I ended up sacrificing myself for Mr. Fierro and by doing so we both got a second chance
LL : (:
Clara : But then my crazy grandmother decided to get revenge and begins possessing me, like The Exorcist, and was hell bent on permanently possessing me so she and Fierro can be together; mind, body and soul. They kidnapped me for months.What's worse is I think a small part of him wanted her plan to succeed.*glares*
LL : But you were able to convince her into letting you go.
Clara : Yes, but first My grandfather had to die, Fierro had to die and I got my face sliced into.
LL : Right, but since your face was damaged you no linger resemble you grandmother, so if he does love you it's not because you look like her.
Clara :Hmm, I never thought of it that way
LL : And also Mr. Fierro was willing to die and become a ghost to save you, something he wouldn't do for Lucie and he knew her for years.
Clara : Oh. . . I guess that's nice
LL : But continue
Clara : Right, it turns our Fierro wasn't really dead and I was pregnant and had a daughter with dark hair, ashen skin and large colorless eyes. My father was so furious. He hated her because she was different, illegitimate and he also had this crazy idea that Fierro kidnapped me and that might have been how I got pregnant
LL : Er . . .
Clara : But it's fine. I told everyone I knew I was pregnant before I was kidnapped, but that also made him mad
LL : Good
Clara : Anyway it turns out Victor ---
LL : Who is now a Spectre and looking for revenge.
Clara : Right, and what better time to get revenge than when my daughter, the only child I'll ever have, life is on the line. While I've been dealing with Rose it turns out Fierro was researching the occult trying to find a way to get the ghost off his back.
LL : How ter-
Clara : Don't. It turns out Victor had stolen my daughter's soul. Without a soul Rosalie would never die She would never truly live either and Victor could posses her (eeck!) whenever he wanted. I wanted her to have a soul. So Victor proposed that one of us gives her our soul so she could be normal. Of course that meant one of us had to murder the other
LL : oh, um. did you get it back ? Her soul, I mean ?
Clara : Kind of. While Lucie is still bitter, she began to care for her great-granddaughter and felt responsible for the way my father treated her. So, Lucie helped us. Let's just say Rosalie is a whole soul made of of two halves.
LL : So can you give us some insight on Mr. F during this time?
Clara : Oh, well he didn't die and instead Lucie kind of followed him around. He spent like three years traveling the world trying to find a way to send her to the otherside. It doesn't work but over the years Lucie realized it was better for Rose if she take a backseat. She wanted Rose to have her father.
LL : Great. So you can't die ?
Clara : I guess. It means I have to watch my friends and family die. Including Rose. Because of complications I can't have anymore children so I--we'll be alone till the end of time and then some.
LL : That's Dark. Now Clara we have some questions from readers.
Clara : Okay
LL : First, can you tell us a little about your family and where they live ?
Clara: Well, all my siblings live in Rochester. Um, here is a family tree.
So, four years later *screams internally* I brought Clara back to update us.
LL : So, Clara tell us about what happened after our interview
Clara : This is hard to talk about. Let's see My father died. . . well he was murdered. . . well he was poisoned. . . my mom poisoned him. . . I mean I saw her do it . . . she did it because she was fed up with my father. . . she got the poison from me. . . I got it from my sister Claudia. . . she got it from. . .Mr. Fierro. . . and he made it because my father was so cruel to Rose.
LL : Hmm, you explained that so well. . . in order. So, tell us about what happened between you and Mr. F
Clara : Well, so for reasons I can't legally discuss Mr. Fierro proposed to me so we couldn't testify against each other in my Father's murder case. I agreed because I kind of knew things.
LL : It got close
CLara : To close. But he just left me at the altar and at first I was mad but then I was glad. After my Mothers' trial I told him I was moving to Italy and there was just this moment
LL : Tell more
Clara : I think we just realized we were in love with each other and wanted to see how far we could go.
LL : And then
Clara : Then ten years later we had to move to Harper's Hollow in Arizona because-
LL : Tuh tuh tuh- not yet. What happened between then.
Clara : Hey, that's your story to tell

I just looked up the Cinnamon Roll meme, and I'm suprised I haven't heard of it earlier. And no, Clara doesn't leave Rose behind when she goes to confront Mr. Fierro. We learn more about this in this chapter
So I've had an epiphany and have plans to work the next portion. So we will see how that goes. The joy of pantsing.
