It has been quite on the homefront. I got some stuff done while I was on tour with the other Colboltians. Is that a word we are still using ? I think Seattle was the best city it was so laid back and practically smells like Starbucks ! I wish I could live there.
Being back has been great I've been embracing more of a political side an getting more involved with that. . . but all these drafts keep calling to me. My daughter has been helping me out a bit so I may have to start giving her partial credit.

I’d kind of accepted that my dream of landing at a conservatory, playing for a full house just wasn’t in my future. Instead I settled for a few short terms side jobs, even if it meant the only ones who would hear me play were little ballerinas at rehersal. It didn’t matter though; I was playing for myself, for the music for the first time in years. Me and my piano was the closest I got to feeling complete.
Chapter 3
I could have done my morning routine with my eyes closed.
I’d drag myself out of bed at 5:00 am, by the time I pulled myself into my bathroom and unpinned my curls and made myself look decent; Rose would be sitting quietly in the living room ready to go. The pink iPod shuffle I bought her for her 6th birthday would be clipped to her skirt. I'd loaded hours of classical music on it and she liked to sit quietly and listen whenever she had to wait for me. I think it calmed her down.
Chapter 4
She'd grown to be small for her age, her delicate complexion became more severe and her softly waved hair had grown thicker and wilder. She never grew into her large eyes, so you always knew when she was watching.
I'd made playdates with co-workers and thier children but Rose always found a way to scare them away. I never kmew what she did or said but they'd always end up crying and hiding from her.
