Chapter 13 Outtake

So, there is a conversation that happens between Paris and Seraphina that never made it in the story. It was originally supposed to be after the scene at The Spindle where they decide to blow up Helios' cars. They are in a car on the top floor of a parking deck.

“So about Paris”, I say

I wait for a response to make sure she isn’t sleeping, after a few seconds she turns her head, her entire body very still.

I can’t read her expression under the shades. Her lips were still slightly parted and that was just fucking distracting.

“About Pairs?”, she repaets.

“Yes. A woman with reading taste like you surely  you know all about Paris.The thief,, the seducer. I reach down and kiss her hand.

She pulls her shades over her head, coming to a realization.

“Paris stole Helen from Sparta.”, she said, “He seduced the most beautiful woman in Greece and started the The Trojan war.””

“I told you, I don’t want to be the kind of woman who starts wars.”

“Well, the story is quiet fitting”, I said with a smile.

“Paris dies, you know”, she said, “In the end”

“Not in every veriosn--”

“In every version Paris dies.”

“The husband dies, the brother dies, father’s eat thier kids. the son dies. Its a greek tragedy, love.”

“What is the point ?”

“The point is Helen’s the most beatufiul woman in the world, you’re fucking goregious.  My name is Paris. What I just did certainly counts as seduction-- Its a compliment love”

“Theres is also the 1st wife.”, she says.

“Sera--”

“When Paris dies he goes to his first wife asking her for help and she is so spurned that he left her for Helen that she refuses.”

I rub my thurmb of her cold wrist.

“It’s messy Paris. It’s dangerous. Helios is dangerous. If he finds out I’m a traitor he will make an example out of me”

“He won’t. I won’t have it. I think we both know you can take on Helios.”

“Do your brothers feel the sameway ? They’ll throw me to him in seconds to save themselves.”

“They won’t”

“This is so very dangerous”

“We can find another way. we dont have to blow up the cars-”

“No”, she tightned the grip on my hand, “This is dangerous. Us.”

As if on que my hand began to tinge with frost and I let go.I settled for hooking on just her pinkie

“Why ? It's just se-”

“No”, she decided, “It’s not.”

Inwardly I smild because I already knew this. I was respectably handsome but I wasn’t the kind of man fit to entertain a woman of her status.

Anyone notice that I started using songs twice. I'd use the original and then covers in songs to show contrast.

(Regular) Prologue - Sera is trying to kill Paris. We don't know why or who Helios is
(Acoustic) Chapter 1- Seraphina isn't really trying to kill Paris. She's actually pledgeig her allegiance to him.

Burn 
(Regular) Burn - Sera and Paris sleep together and start thier relationship
 (Acoustic) - Sera and Paris break up

Unrelated

I found this picture on Tumblr and it reminded me of April sitting on a wall in American Fairytale.

When I do see April again she is sitting on the short wall by McGill’s Grocery. She has on black capris and a shirt with that shows her off her stomach.
 
Logan is also with me, we are doing Jerry’s yogurt run. Apparently Mr. McGill has started special ordering him cases.

“Need a minute ?”, Logan asks while doing something odd with his eyebrows.

“I. . . uh don’t know”

“Summer isn’t going to last forever, you know.”
