Mother/Daughter LOVE !
SV, Hope and I are kind of in love with HMLIS and Corrine. Her lines are just so perfect. I mean the opening of chapter 9 had me laughing so hard. I swear we (cover your eyes, JB) just want to randomly walk around and say "jungle juice, motherfuckers" in a sing-song voice.
Here, take my muse go forth and make multiple chapters ! I can't be held responsible for any inappropriate humor though.

So, yes I troll forums and. . . .I'd like to blog on few things.
A. The GIF. Post I linked to was actually an old gif post from a few months ago.
The blog I'd been getting all my GIF-fu from is no longer updated so I'm searching for gifs.
B. So the timeline . . .
Funny story, I wrote the prologue to Bellum last year when I had no idea what the plot would be. And I made it snow because "rule of cool." However I never had a timeline and usually I have like a super strict one. I mean dates and all.
All that is to say for other plotting reasons, the prologue takes place in October. I know I know it wouldn't be snowing in October, but go with me. . . please ( :
So this means that the rest of the story takes place in late August. . . so we are right on schedule !
C. Helio's looking different
I'm so glad someone caught on to this. Helios is taller and more elegantly muscled than his men. . Giving him a more traditionally attractive look.
I will stop trolling. . . not. It gives me blogging platforms for when I'm lazy
SGI!Seraphina - Inspiration
I modeled SGI!Seraphina after female fitness models. In Lux she was strong but didn't have the power behind her. After a year with the SGI, she has been worked out so hard she has changed her body to better fit in with the SGI. These images of Pro Fitness Model Louise Rogers are how I pictured her body's physical appearance. Though I imagine her as being less thin.

Helios has a plan and it includes forcing the Demons out of New York City. When Paris refuses to agree, Helios makes it very clear he has no plans of giving up.

ReplyDeleteFunny story, that line in HMLIS didn’t originally have MF in it and I added it because I kind of wanted Corinne to drop the MF-bomb at some point...as of right now she does it three times.
BTW, love you and Hope’s relationship...I hope Em and I have the same one when she is that age!

Let me see here . . . I guess it depends what you consider adulthood but most were around 21 in the 18th century. When Sera was married she was 18/19 and it was the 15-16th century.
DeleteI don't know which storyline I want more off, those dream sequences were amazing, I can practically see Homeland. However, I'm super curious to see how the Angel's live. Do you know how they get the birth control ? Also, does she think Helios really isn't going to notice soon ?

ReplyDeleteSo as you can imagine when they first came here they didn't know if they could have kids with the humans, so that's why Anne married her off the first time. When I really thought about it I realized that for like most of History women were expected to do little more than become wives and mothers. It's kind of sad

Is the dream intentionally in a different font ? How meta ! It reminds me of that awesome third person section in NAF...which I'm still mourning the ending of. I think April and Sera could cause some DAMAGE together.

ReplyDeleteAriel has Blonde hair. By default all the Angels look the same. They have brown hair and blue eyes. This is why so many of the SGI have dyed hair and Hippolyta is described as bottle-blonde.
DeleteAriel's hair is natually blonde which is a genetic rarity like redheads. It just makes her stand out more, which is why she is so self conscious.
