In one of the comments HPgirl asked me about whether someone in Nightfall could get married or pregnant. I thought about this for a while and while it is true Clara could get married. she could't get pregnant. I think, although I hate to touch on this, as far as this story goes they are only manifestations of themselves and their bodies are still on Earth.

The Olivers
In relation to HPgirls comment the Olivers are a married couple who met in Nightfall. They had a semi-story line in the begining. In which Emile (in chapter 2) explains how they came to Litany Lane in different decades but manage to get along.

If I'm allowed to have an opinion this is actually one of my favorite chapters.

ReplyDeleteCoincidentally enough, Norah Jones "Come Away With Me" is the song Slate calls an "overused sappy Norah Jones song" Emily sings in IVB when she and Slate are watching her old pageant tapes. I meant to mention it but, never did. So, odd !
Grrr. . . Mr.Fierro and Clara need to just get together the will they/won't they thing is killing me !

I never understood the term shabby chic but, I'd give anything to live in a house as pretty as that. I would be really upset if it burned down.

ReplyDeleteThe only reason I like Twilight is because of the attention it is giving Carter Burwell, I think he does lovely work and I love this song sooo much !

ReplyDeleteI like this chapter overall too ! I think it is very deep but, I am pretty partial to the last chapter.
ReplyDeleteI think in some sense playing the piano like that could have hurt her physically but, mentally it is exactly what Clara needed.
ReplyDeleteIt's so strange but when Emile stepped in the whole feud between Mr.F and Clara seemed so immature and kind of dumb. IDK
ReplyDeleteIf Mr.Fierro wants his maids to be his friends he should treat them nicer. I also think the fact he calls Clara Ms.Delune shows that she respects him.

ReplyDeleteI found what Ms.Ginger said about Kayla as the saddest thing, I mean how terrible for her. I think I can see Mr.F's point in protecting Nightfall from Specters.

ReplyDeleteDoes Mr. F live in the castle with Victor ? It seems odd that they would stay there if he had a house in Bordeux. For something that is just a country house, Mr. F spends a lot of time in it.

ReplyDeleteI see a lot of themes on lonliness playing out in this story. I think the last chapter proved that it is better to be with others than alone.

I don't think Mr.Fierro can get over his wife even if he wants to, he makes that pretty clear. I think that is why he keeps Clara at arms length
