Hello everyone
I'm going to come right up and say that there is no update today
I'm going to try and post more often even if it's not an update
Chapter 12
I mentioned something about chapter 12 having some realtion to UL and after I finished the chapter I realized that Brad and Tomas shared some of the same characteristics. I originally never envisioned Tomas to be sympathetic character from the very beginning, but I think it's hard to not want to empathize with him sometimes.
I will admit that I am concerned about the direction I am taking this story into but I am going to try and stick to my outline as much as possible.
I also didn't have a picture for chapter 12 and I wasn't going to put one but just so you know the man in the picture is Robert Pattinson.
Push
I called this post Push because I have been pushed by some people at Cobalt (Julie R.) to try something new, so I am working on a new little creation that is very different from anything else I've done so far.
I don't want to say to much about it except it will probably be a shorter story maybe 10-15 chapters or a set of vignettes. Right now it is in a BIG development stage and I will aslo say that it will refelct on some of my interst as a teenager including science fiction, horror, paranormal, whimsical and fantasy but in a romantic sort of way.
Next Update
I am a tinsy bit behind on my updates and want together at least 10,000 words done before I start posting. I would like to post chapter 13 in two parts but I'm not sure yet.

I have always found Tomas to be a sympathetic character except for this chapter. I have found Sofia to always be a sympathetic character.
ReplyDeleteI didn't even notice the picture ! I think you're writing is so strong you don't *need* pictures.
ReplyDeleteAs far as Brad and Tomas, I don't know what conclusions I can draw. The only differentiation between them is an age difference but, IDK. I am just rambling now.
Ooooh 10,000 words--that's alot, can't wait ! What are the things that make you want to deviate from your outline ? Is it some of the comments ?
ReplyDeleteHi, Linda I love your work, can't wait for more.
ReplyDeleteSo, What exactly is BIG DEVELOPMENT stage ?
I know you must be super busy with your other jobs, your kids and drinking so just remeber if you ever need anything or any help just call, IM, facebook, tweet, text, skype or come by. We Cobalt girls (except Stella and that blonde b*tch in HR) should stick together !
ReplyDeleteI'm around.
^^^
ReplyDeleteYou are on maternity leave, Jill. You know you have never offered to help me.
I wish I had a better comment for you, Mrs.Leigh so, I just give a generic keep up the good work.
Actually, I do have a comment for you Mrs.Leigh actually,
ReplyDeleteDon't let Julie push into anything you aren't ready for. Just tell her you are working on it when you really aren't.
Shawna and I have been working on the Ninja Project for 5 months.
I don't see how you can not find an foreigner with cancer who needs to find a way to stay in the country so they can get better unsympthetic.
ReplyDeleteBut, I did find the Tomas in the Spirits original version to be unsympathetic. I would love to see where that story would have gone
I think you have proven waiting for updates is totally worth it. Anymore books in your future ?
ReplyDeleteHave you ever considered writing a tell-all autobiography or something? You totally should, I would read that !
ReplyDeleteTell us more ! Tell us more ! jk, (kind of) I can't wait to see what you come up with !
ReplyDeleteHey-- I just though of something !
ReplyDeleteI could collect a Q&A for you to post. Or I can set up some online zine or blog interviews. Or I can put together a charity dinner together. I'm just saying . . .
By sticking to your outline you mean copying and twisting whatever Shawna Harrison does ?
ReplyDelete^^
ReplyDelete>:-<
-- that's a mean face
I notice you use Spunk Ransom songs also.I think despite all other qualities he is actually kind of handsome.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of RPattz, I have no idea why some saw Gracelyn & Tomas as "schocking" because Kristen Stewart was 17 and Pattinson was 22 and people were "shipping" them as a couple. I'm just saying
